Still filling my Kindle with horror stories, here are a few more I’ve enjoyed recently.
Just started on a 15-week program of creative exercises, taken from a book about cartooning. They range from spontaneous drawing to multi-page comic spreads. This week, I’ve been using a timer.
Daniel Clowes’ “Glossary of obsolete commercial art production techniques” from Fantagraphics’ latest artist edition.
Making excuses for not having updated this thing since August and rambling about creative cycles in the process.
I’m binge-reading horror novels this winter. Not a genre I’m familiar with, and I hate horror movies, but ghost stories are cool. These novels have made my commute a lot more fun lately.
No new drawings this week either, but all the more bugs, crows and comic books.
Macaronis, testicles and a couple of new sketchbook spreads.
